Early 1900s Handmade Womens Black Chambray Blouse

Early 1900s handmade black chambray blouse. Boxy fit and very breathable. In a lightweight, worn and faded black chambray. Metal button-down front— note the blouse does not completely open and is a popover. Mends at both sleeves done in our studio using period-correct black chambray and salt & pepper material. Hand-sewn buttonholes. Selvedge lining along the inside of the blouse. A flaw to note is that the very top buttonhole is quite worn and may need reinforcing in the future.
